How it works

  1. 1

    Pick how you feel

Six broad feelings, each with its own colour and shape. One tap saves it, any time of day.

  2. 2

    Find the precise word

Low, but lonely or just tired? Pick up to two words, or type your own. Add what was going on, if you like.

  3. 3

    See what repeats

A short look back each week, and patterns by context: what work days, poor sleep or time with family tend to bring.

Words, because they help

Putting a feeling into words is linked with calmer reactions, and people who can tell frustrated from hurt tend to cope better under stress. word for it is built on that research into naming emotions: no emojis, no 1-to-5 scores.

Check in from a reminder

Twice or three times a day, if you want. Tap a feeling right on the notification. It stays quiet if you've just checked in.

Your week, looked back on

A few plain lines each week: how often you checked in, what was most common, the words you used. It describes; it never grades.

Save things to bring up

Keep a note of what you want to talk about, with a therapist, a doctor or someone close, so it's there when the moment comes.

A plan for hard days
